ALL ABOUT ADHESIVES
We recommend that you switch out your adhesive every four weeks. Adhesives should be used or discarded within 6 months of order date.
Unopened adhesive can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 months.
Open adhesives should be stored in an adhesive container in a dry, cool, and dark place with silica or rice to absorb excess moisture.

Your adhesive is fine! That’s just the silica beads doing its job in keeping the bottle fresh by absorbing excess moisture. You can simply heat your beads in the oven at the lowest heat to get them back to blue. To store your beads, place them in an airtight container with your opened or unopened adhesive.
If you've purchased a new bottle of adhesive to use immediately, no shaking is required as excessive shaking can cause the nozzle to clog. Our adhesives are small batch ordered, so they are very fresh. If you are using an older adhesive stored in the fridge, shake well for 2 minutes at the beginning of your lashing day. No extra shaking required after.
You can replace the clogged nozzle by using pliers to remove. Upon removal, replace it with a new one immediately. Every back-up nozzle is sealed, so remember to use the nozzle pin to puncture a hole prior to use. Use caution when replacing the nozzle to avoid spilling the adhesive.
Avoid nozzle clogging in the future by using a lint-free wipe to remove adhesive off the inducer after each drop. Use a lint-free microtip applicator to remove extra adhesive from the inside of the cap.
Do not shake the adhesive up and down as this leaves adhesive residue around the cap and nozzle.
ALL ABOUT TWEEZERS
All tweezers should be cleaned and sanitized after each use. Begin by removing and adhesive with acetone. Gently wash the tweezer with soap and water. Rinse thoroughly. Please in an EPA-registered disinfecting solution following the allotted disinfecting time. Rinse with water and pat dry. Store in a covered container free of debris and cross contamination.
Note: High heat sterilization may reduce the blue intensity. Some disinfecting solutions may also reduce the blue intensity. Please read any precautionary labels on disinfecting solutions prior to use to ensure they are suitable for use.
First, you want to give your tweezer a thorough clean. Make sure it's free of adhesive residue. All tweezers are made of hand-crafted Japanese steel. They are filed with precision tools to achieve the exact closing and pick up. However, using the same tweezer every day will eventually wear and tear your tweezer's pick up. This is completely normal. This is why we always recommend having a backup of your favourite tweezer. The longevity of your tweezer depends on the frequency you use and the pressure you apply during application.
ALL ABOUT LASHES
All of our eyelash extensions are made from PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate), and our Creator’s Collection are ¼ taper (faux mink) that offer a fuller appearance.
The term mink or silk is actually just terminology that foreign manufactures use to bridge the language gap! Neither animals nor silk worms are harmed in the process of creating our lashes.
The terminology is determined by the taper of the lash tips. Silk lashes have a 1/3 taper, Mink lashes have a 1/4 taper. Therefore, mink will often create a darker, fuller look than silk at the tips of the design. If you want to learn more about the difference between mink and silk, check out our blog here.
We take quality control and inspection seriously! Most of our products at Untamed Artistry are hand-made, which means that they may unfortunately be exposed to some mistakes (because that’s all part of #beinghuman).
When lashes get finer in diameter, they become harder to create, so small inconsistencies in 0.05 and 0.03 trays are typical. However, in the event that you are unhappy with your lash trays regardless, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be more than happy to help you resolve your issue immediately.
We’re here for you! You can always feel free to contact us at email@example.com to ask any questions. We also upload tons of educational content on our Instagram (@untamed.artistry) and blogs on our website that can help you learn more about our products, how to use them, and more!
