What's Next For Untamed Artistry?

Now that the Untamed Artistry launch is officially over, I have a big announcement to make:

I’m going back to being a full-time professional poker player and food blogger.

In all seriousness, this first launch was the beginning of something amazing. If you’ve been following along for awhile, you have now seen why I started Untamed Artistry. Now, it’s time to talk about what comes next.

But first, let’s take a little walk down launch recap lane.

Lessons Learned

I don’t know if you lash nerds realized, but this launch was the first time I had ever built and launched a line of physical products.

And let me tell you… ya girl is TIRED. But, the process was absolutely amazing and I learned so much.

My first lesson: I underestimated the magnitude of this project.

I took something that should take YEARS (like two or three YEARS) and did it in SIX months. 

If I do it again, I will give myself space for the unexpected setbacks (looking at you, Canadian customs).

By the end, I was rushing so much that I started to get a bit careless. To be super transparent, by launch week, I was BURNT OUT.

I rushed through some decisions and had to go back to correct them. I got real up close and personal with the term “brain fog”, let me tell you.

Biggest Victories

I definitely had some lessons learned, but OMG what an amazing first launch.

First, I learned that your dream team is built during adversity. My team of unicorns was tested FO REAL this launch and they pulled through! They may each be 30 years older now but, man, I love them (and think they still look great!).

I’ll never forget what it felt like during the first hour of launch. Guys, we almost broke the internet! Seeing hundreds of orders pop up was amazing. Our website even started glitching for a few minutes because so many people were on it!

What Comes Next

So, now that the first launch is over… what comes next?

Well, first of all, more PRODUCTS!

Think products for lash lifts and tints, retail products (eyeliners, growth serums, etc!). I can’t wait to start testing and designing these products.

And then the thing I’m most excited about: we’re going back to our ROOTS. I’m so excited to be producing more educational content with my team.

More videos, more webinars, more hacks for you to become a better lash extension artist and to better grow your lash extension biz. We are going to take care of all our lash nerds. We’ve got you covered!

I’m also excited to be doing more collaboration soon. Matcha Monday is coming in hot with new guests, as is a YouTube educational video series. I can’t wait for you guys to see them!
